PARADE OF CARNIVAL FLOATS


CLASSES OF ENTRY

Scouts, Guides, Brownies, Badgers & Playgroups etc

2. Family & Social Groups
Families, Family & Friends, Library, WI, Round Table, etc

3. Singles/Pairs fancy dress 13+
One or Two people in fancy dress over the age of the junior competition.

4. Trade and Business

5. Vintage Cars and Bikes

6. Decorated Electric Buggies

NO ARTICULATED LORRIES PLEASE

Why not have an illuminated float and bring it to the parade on Sunday as well.

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

* Non-motorised entrants assemble on Station Car Park from 5pm ready for judging at 5.30pm.
* Motorised entrants follow parade route signs down Beeston Road & Wyndham Street. A marshall will escort you from Wyndham Street to the Clock to register and floats will line up along Station Road for judging. Assemble at 4.30pm judging will start at 5pm. Parade will leave at 6.30pm.

* Nothing is to be thrown from the floats.  This includes liquids, sweets and advertising material.

* Advertising material etc may be given out providing there is no risk to spectators.

* Please refrain from consuming alcohol while in the Parade

* Drink driving laws apply and police will take action against any offenders.

* Float designers to be aware of the height of Beeston Road Bridge (13'6")
